Time to “Rule The Pool”
PADI Seal Team
The PADI Seal Team is for young scuba divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool. Young divers learn basic scuba skills. There are five AquaMissions to be completed. PADI Seal Team includes doing some cool stuff in the pool, meeting friends, and sharing in the adventure of the underwater world.
No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary. Kids must be comfortable in the water. This is a pool-based program. Parental approval is required.
PADI Master Seal Team
The PADI Master Seal Team is for young scuba divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool. Beyond learning basic scuba skills, they complete 10 specialty AquaMissions. This is a pool-based program. Parental approval is required. Participants age 10 and older will be ready to jump right into their Open Water certification class.
Who can Participate?
This program is open to anyone who:
- Is at least 8 years old
- Is able to either answer NO to all questions on the standard Medical History Form or secure a physician’s approval prior to the start of class
What is Involved?
PADI Seal Team
It’s really very simple. The young diver will watch a video, spend a few minutes discussing some fundamental concepts with the instructor, then hop in the pool, where the instructor will show them a few easy-to-master skills. Then kids are free to play, under instructor supervision, for the balance of the session.
PADI Master Seal Team
The young diver will hop in the pool, where the instructor will show complete the following AquaMissions: creature ID Specialist, Environmental Specialist, Inner Space-buoyancy Specialist, Navigation Specialist, Night Specialist, Safety Specialist, Search and Recovery Specialist, Skin Diver Specialist, Snapshot Specialist, and Wreck Specialist. Then participants will play, under instructor supervision, during these sessions.
Where and when does this program take place?
Classroom and pool activities take place right here at Squalo Divers. We have our own heated swimming pool. It provides unbeatable convenience and enjoyment.
Seal Team pool activities take place every day of the week. All activities take place by appointment only.
What is included in the cost?
The fee for PADI Seal Team Class includes:
- Five pool sessions, maximum two sessions per day
- All instruction
- All gear
Students are responsible for supplying all of the equipment items listed below, plus:
- Transportation to and from the store
- Food and drinks
The fee for PADI Master Seal Team Class includes:
- Ten pool sessions, maximum two sessions per day
- All instruction
- All gear
Students are responsible for supplying all of the equipment items listed below, plus:
- Transportation to and from the store
- Food and drinks
What equipment will you need?
Students are responsible for supplying all of the equipment items listed below:
- Bathing suit
- Towel
We provide everything else – although, if you would like to get your own quality mask, snorkel and fins, we have quite a selection to choose from.
